Butterflies - Sweet Peas

God's word says what may be know about Him is evident in us and in all creation. We have no excuse for pretending there is no God. I believe there is evidence for the existence and love of a Creator who would fashion such an amazing little creature as the butterfly. So complicated, so delicate, so pretty. God didn't have to make beauty, He chose to! I hope my sweet peas know that God created it all. It was perfect in the beginning and He will make it all new and perfect again.
His resurrection was the first.

These are Eastern Tiger Swallowtails. The male is yellow and black with a little orange and blue at the back. The female can be yellow and black with more blue, or it can be dark like the one below.

You can see his long tongue.

The day I took these photos my small lilac bush had about 12 butterflies on it.

Looks like a cool kind of airplane.

I love how her fuzzy little head just pops out of the blur.

"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse..." ~Romans 1:20
Butterflies are like a picture of the resurrection for me. Along with everything coming to life in the spring. God doesn't have to use words to speak to us. Be still. Look around.

I like how they move so quickly over the multi-flowered blossoms and
change their wing shapes as they go. Cool!
