Sisterchicks In Wooden Shoes- book review

Sisterchicks In Wooden Shoes was my first Sisterchicks book, and after reading it I look forward to reading more of this series. As a church librarian I'm always looking for great books our patrons will love and I feel this book meets my criteria for uplifting content in a book.

Summer is a busy mom who manages to juggle her life and keep it all together until she gets a bad report on a medical test. Because of this she decides to travel to Holland to meet her long-time pen pal, Noelle. Summer and her friend spend a wonderful time together visiting Amsterdam and Corrie Ten Boom's House in Harlem.Summer shares her fears with Noelle, and she in return shares her heart.

A few years ago I was able to return to Holland for a visit, so it was quite nice to read about the characters visiting the same places that I love.
